We are pleased to invite you to participate in an important research study conducted by Panagiota Tsikala, one of our Junior Policy Officers at ESNO. As part of her master’s thesis in the Health Care Management program at the Hellenic Open University, under the guidance of Professor Bellali Thalia, Panagiota is leading this study to explore “Factors influencing the occurrence of the “second victim” phenomenon” among healthcare professionals across Europe.
This research aims to uncover how moral injury, burnout, work commitment, and personality contribute to the “second victim” phenomenon, with the ultimate goal of supporting and promoting the physical, mental, and social well-being of healthcare professionals.
